Once teams are finalized on June 20, team members will not be able to switch teams.
-
Teams are responsible for their own infrastructure (servers, development tools, etc.). If a team needs help finding free resources for the duration of the hackathon, mentors are available to help. Make a request in the ask-a-mentor channel.
-
We will do our best to provide a project manager for any team that needs one.
-
This is not a competition. We will not be choosing 'winners'. We intend to evaluate the merits of every submission, to determine if it can be supported through a full development and deployed as a solution to the problems in India. This support through becoming a Supported Helpful project, would potentially include: development resources; expert advice; fundraising assistance; and publicity, as required for success.
- Submissions must be published under Helpful's licensing guidelines.
By participating in the Helpful Hackathon, you agree to abide by the following code of conduct.
Please treat all other hackers with the utmost respect. We ask that you act kindly, behave professionally, and do not insult or put down other attendees. Remember that harassment and racist, sexist, or exclusionary jokes are not appropriate--ever. If at any point you see a fellow hacker being harassed, please put a message in the #ask-the-management channel on discord.
Failure to comply with the above-stated Rules and Code of Conduct may result in the offending person's removal from the event.
